Undeserved Blessings
God provides again. Over and over during this semester God has provided in so many incredible ways it's a bit hard to even fathom. I've done nothing to deserve it, yet he has blessed me in so many ways. About 5 minutes ago I received a text from Mark at church. He sent it to the wrong Abby, but I replied anyway. Calling to apologize for the text he asked how I was and I explained that I've been searching for a lift to the airport. The busses don't run as early as I would need in order to check in and fly out at 9am. Mark hates getting up early and he cheerfully offered to give me a lift at 5:15am to the Shannon airport Sunday morning, even though he has church to set up directly afterwards. What a blessing. Even more, my luggage wouldn't fit in 98% of Irish cars, but of course Mark has a van and it will make everything go even smoother. Directly after hanging up with mark tears began pouring out of my eyes as I fell to the floor in gratitude. Nothing I've done warrants this incredible blessing. God doesn't owe me anything, Mark doesn't owe me a favor. In no way am I deserving of this beautiful gift. Yet he freely and graciously continues to lavish me with blessings over and over, demonstrating his amazing love for me.
With Love from Galway
